Description ¶
New major version
Note that the release announcement specifies that "gnome-text-editor" will become GNOME's recommended text editor beginning with GNOME 42. We should be able to keep gedit around though instead of gnome-text-editor, but I will try it after GNOME 42 is out to see what the differences are.
