Souce code is now availible for JDK updates...currently at update 4. Update 5 should be soon as well.

How do you identify these version differences?

When you download the source code it is 1.5.0 without a minor version bump.

How would one know that he is downloading 1.5.0 source versus 1.5.0_4 source?

Unless there is some difference in the naming of the downloaded file there shouldn't be a version bump or a bug to describe it.

Right?

My reply to the last comment was on list and not documented in bugzilla. The download location has changed. See ​https://tiger.dev.java.net/ for the updated sources. Udated in BLFS now.
