libunique is listed as Required for lxsession but it isn't needed at all. The version of GTK doesn't matter. I believe libunique can then be archived.

If this is a dup then wouldn't this be and endless loop? ;)
I've reported this a couple times in the past.
A thread from 2020 where I state libunique isn't needed, it's a reply from Pierre:

As I stated in the initial ticket this has nothing to do with the version of GTK.
