Almost all the PR corresponding to the patch for mutter-42.0 have been applied except 1: ​https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/2329. I'll remove the patch, with the hope that this issue is minor enough... It wouldn't make much sense IMO to fix this one and not apply other changes occurring since the 42.1 release.

I'll remove the patch, with the hope that this issue is minor enough... It wouldn't make much sense IMO to fix this one and not apply other changes occurring since the 42.1 release.

With unpatched 42.0, I observed two siginificant issues: one caused gliched rendering and another caused crash. So I pulled these patches in. Both issues do not show up with unpatched 42.1. So I think dropping patch is OK.
