I've got xfce-4.2.2 installed (following th BLFS instructions), compiled against gtk-+2.8.8 (ok, so I'm a little behind there) and I can't see any problems with it. The BLFS page is, perhaps, a little bit sparse. There could be more detail, but it works. I don't think this is an emergency. If no one's taken this bug in a week or so, I'd be happy to do it.

Good to know. Thanks Andy. Sometimes folks can make things out to be just a tad bit more than needs to be. This may the the case. Even *if* some text is leaking out of a task-bar button, it surely wouldn't be a reason to pull a package out of BLFS.
