The currency script picked it up from https://gitlab.com/qemu-project/qemu/-/tags, and it can be downloaded from there. However it appears to not yet be officially released. I cannot yet find any release notes.

At least from their website, Qemu doesn't seem to provide release notes for point releases. As an example, the link for 7.2.2's changes points directly to 7.2
It doesn't appear to be uploaded yet though, should be at https://download.qemu.org/qemu-8.0.1.tar.xz when ready I believe

The only described change to 8.0.2 seems to be:
- 32-bit ARM hosts continue to be supported
Does not yet seem to be available at qemu.org. Or do you have a link?
