Description
The help of REISERFS_FS in kernel configuration says:
Reiserfs is deprecated and scheduled to be removed from the kernel in 2025. If you are still using it, please migrate to another filesystem or tell us your usecase for reiserfs.
Is there any BLFS user using reiserfs?
And we need to re-check if btrfs-progs test suite still need REISERFS_FS related kernel configuration items too.

If we don't remove it immediately, I think it would be useful for our readers to note that reiserfs will be removed from the kernel in 2025 and should not be used for new systems.

As far as I can see, for both lvm2 tests and btrfs-progs tests, the tests involving reiserfs are skipped if reiserfs is not found in /proc/filesystems. Note that I think btrfs-progs test time would be decreased by half if reiserfs tests were not run.

Removed reiserfsprogs at commit b643f16b949e78cea4d416c6d29e7c7ddc2918c9
I don't know if anyone is actually using reiser, but we reference it in About RAID (can be easily removed), lvm2 (for tests), btrfs-progs (for tests), and gparted (runtime if used).
I don't have any strong feelings about either removing reiser or not right now. We could wait until it is actually removed from the kernel.
