================= WebKitGTK 2.41.92 =================

What's new in WebKitGTK 2.41.92?

  • Fix render updates after cross origin history navigation with GTK4.
  • Fix flickering in non accelerated compositing mode.
  • Fix pixelated accelerated blur filter.
  • Fix web process launching when xdg-dbus-proxy is not installed.
  • Pass GBM_BO_USE_RENDERING to gbm_bo_create.
  • Fix several crashes and rendering issues.

There are only two commits since 2.41.92 until 2.42:

  • Disable frame rate throttling (the temporary workaround for the scroll issue mentioned in #18432 - the probability of the issue is much smaller since 2.41.91 but still not zero)
  • Update Swedish translation

Stephen Berman on blfs-dev had a problem with libseccomp being a optional dependency of bubblewrap. To use bubblewrap sandbox in webkitgtk you need to have libseccomp installed. So we have to either promote seccomp to a recommended dependency of bubblewrap or add a note that bubblewrap has to be built with seccomp to use bubblewrap sandbox

Edit: Seccomp is an optional dependency right now, not a recommended one

I've added it as recommended at r12.0-195-g3f65573e25.

By the way it seems you've not received my reply to Stephen. Is there something wrong in the mail list system or your ISP simply rejects all mails from a .site domain? At least the reply successfully arrived the ML: https://lists.linuxfromscratch.org/sympa/arc/blfs-support/2023-09/msg00041.html
