Description
The Tripwire project page at Sourceforge has recently been updated with a new version. I don't know how it compares to the old Tripwire, or the hacked version we have in the book from frenchfries.net.
Anyway, it may be worth looking at to see if it is a newer/better/whatever version.

I updated the book, but the release is terrible. A gcc4 patch was required, the install was broken without creating a symbolic link to a directory. They even included the .svn directories in the tarball.
