Description ¶
This is in advance of the upcoming shutdown of MLS later this week.
The following changes need to be made:
- Create configuration in Geoclue to use our Google API Key
- Remove Mozilla API Key from Firefox, change mozconfig to use the Google one by default
- Test gnome-maps, gnome-weather, and firefox
Users who have Geoclue and/or Firefox installed will need to rebuild them with the changes to use the Google API Key. Otherwise geolocation services for things like maps and some websites which use them during things like login processes will no longer function

All seems to be working well. I'm going to send out an email to the lists shortly.
For now I'm using
/etc/geolocation
to hard code the location of my apartment :(.
