Description ¶
could we include Inkscape in the BLFS book? it's a nice compliment to GIMP and, once satisfied the dependencies, it works with a plain
(as user) ./configure --prefix=/usr make (as root) make install
haven't tested it extensively to be able to report hang-ups or crashes but it's working fine for now and very fast to load itself

gtkmm is in the book now but Inkscape requires a legacy versions of gtkmm (the gtk2 versions) so I can't see this happening. Maybe when Inkscape moves to gtk3?

What's about gtkmm and so on? These are not part of the book yet.
