From the ChangeLog:

  • Accept --help & --version as aliases to -help & -version
  • Replace strcpy+strcat calls with snprintf
  • Call free() instead of XFree() on pointers returned by malloc()
  • Add missing checks for malloc failure
  • gitlab CI: stop requiring Signed-off-by in commits
