This is now at version 8.2.2. The only change required is the /srv/pgsql/data directory needs to have 0700 permissions, otherwise postgresql fails to start with the following in /srv/pgsql/data/logfile:

FATAL: data directory "/srv/pgsql/data" has group or world access DETAIL: Permissions should be u=rwx (0700).

And now at 8.2.3. 8.2.2 contained a regression detailed at ​http://lwn.net/Articles/221072/.
