There is a new text-to-speech package and it works with KDE. The KDE instructions (whichever module it is that builds the KTTS stuff) needs to include the dependency.

Just a note to say that KDE-3.5.6 was tagged in KDE's svn ont January 16th. I't looks like they are on schedule for a release next week. The target date is Jan 23rd (next Tuesday).
