  • notification: Set the icon-name property as image hint instead of as app-icon
  • notify-send: Require valid UTF-8 for Summary and Body
  • notify-send: Allow sending an empty summary
  • notify-send: Flush stdout after printing notification ID
  • build: Improve mapfile and support building in solaris
  • libnotify/notification: Modernize the NotifyNotification class definition (and add support for auto-pointers)
  • Bugs fixed:
    • notify-send dumps core if notification message is invalid UTF-8
