Randy, this seems to be only a bugfix release and not the big change from 0.9.7->0.9.8. Is there something important in this change that you expect to cause problems?

I agree with Dan that this update seems only to be a bugfix (and security fix) release and is probably safe to update before 6.2 without significant testing. Sorry for the overly reactive concern.

Bruce, the sooner this goes in, the better since it's a patch for a security fix.

Updated in revision 6302.
The patch needed a slight tweak. Still needs the s/mcpu/march/ in config.
Tested OK against openssh.

This update is huge (important). Please insure that all packages that link against SSL will work with the updated version. Please don't just *guess* that things *probably* work.
