I suggest that 25.2.2.2 is the release and is not yet available or announced on the libreoffice.org download page.

Let's see if this version gets the help problem fixed. I've done some early investigation and noticed that /usr/lib/libreoffice/help currently has no HTML/xhp files in it for the actual help in it, so it's possible that we don't actually have help installing in a way that the application can use it currently. In fact, the only page we have in the help directory is err.html, which basically states "Help Page Not Found".

Running file on the stuff for Libreoffice Writer shows:

renodr [ /usr/lib/libreoffice/help/en-US ]$ file swriter* swriter.idxl/*

swriter.cfg: ASCII text swriter.db: data

swriter.ht: Unicode text, UTF-8 text, with very long lines (445)

swriter.idxl: directory

swriter.jar: Zip archive data, made by v3.0 UNIX, extract using at least v1.0, last modified, last modified Sun, Mar 07 2025 23:38:20, uncompressed size 0, method=store

swriter.key: ASCII text

swriter.tree: XML 1.0 document, ASCII text

swriter.idxl/_0.cfs: data

swriter.idxl/segments_3: data

swriter.idxl/segments.gen: data

swriter.tree is basically the help index. The first file it references is "Welcome to %PRODUCTNAME Writer Help", which is "swriter/text/swriter/main0000.xhp". I did a recursive grep for that and while some files reference it, the actual help file simply isn't there! I suspect the lack of help documentation might be causing Libreoffice to simply crash when it goes to use it.
