This is a unique package for currency. Instead of using 47, 48, etc like the rest of gnome, it uses 1.4, 1.5. When creating 1.5 they create an 'alpha' version which is, of course, not a stable release. When the script needs to 'back up', it needs to decrease the directory by 0.1, and not 1 like the rest of the gnome packages.
The fix is just a one character change, but needs to be manually updated every time upstream wants to create a new minor version.
