I can confirm the liborcus workaround works, and the sed for zlib is still required. For future reference, the following errors happen if the zlib sed isn't included:

Some distros are using zlib-ng which might be why they aren't impacted.
I am currently testing whether the ICU patch and the change for OpenJDK is still required.
I will be adding the --with-system-zstd flag as well, thank you Marty!

The ICU patch as well as the changes for working around the Java security manager removal do not seem to be required anymore.

Still needs the liborcus workaround. Could consider --with-system-zstd as it is in LFS.
