Description ¶
The dillo-dev mailing list is silent, except for this message that confirms that the project is dead: http://lists.auriga.wearlab.de/pipermail/dillo-dev/2006-November/003146.html
Since Dillo also has locale related issues (hardcodes iso-8859-1 fonts), and depends on the obsolete GTK+1 toolkit, I see no reason to keep it in the book.

Fine by me. I've never had any urge to use it.

Suddenly in Aug/Sep'07 they started to be active again in the mailing list. But on the homepage, there is still not other release than 0.8.6.

In any case, this activity is not about the old GTK1-based dillo, but about the new FLTK-based version, which is a completely different package. Thus, I still propose to remove the GTK1-based version of dillo from the book.

I agree, Dillo-0.x.x should be dropped from the book.
I originally requested it put it in, but I have not used it for years, even though I do use Claws as my mailer and it used dillo as its HTML-mail viewer.
I'll wait 3 days for adverse comment and then take it out, ok?

Dillo removed from the book by commenting out. A version based on FLTK2 is in preparation upstream and may be added to the book if and when it becomes stable.
Whoops, I meant this link: http://lists.auriga.wearlab.de/pipermail/dillo-dev/2007-January/003152.html
