Description
I get:
../../include/avm_map.h:48: error: non-template 'pair' used as template
when trying to compile Avifile. My searches turned up a 2 year old GCC bug that has yet to be resolved. But I also found a patch which works to get around the GCC bug (attached).
Anyone else want to confirm this bug with gcc-4.1.2?

Added the GCC-41 patch to the instructions.

Confirmed that the bug exists, and the patch fixes it. Funny thing though, the patch as Robert submitted it, won't apply. I created a new one.
Will add it to the book.
