It looks like out current version is way out of date. We have 23.13.9 which looks like it was released Mar 27, 2023. Even that version was a tag and not a release.

I'm not sure how to get the latest release via a script. The URL is ​https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/accountsservice/accountsservice/-/releases but the raw page is filled with javascript but no direct data. I will mark this manual and we will check currency just before each BLFS stable release.

The mv command and the first sed command are no longer needed, but the second one (for removing en_IE.UTF-8 that LFS does not support) is still needed.

Thanks. Using that was a little tricky. When using wget it returns the full page without any real newlines. It does have some \n characters embedded but wget does not interpret then as newlines:

 $ wc latest
