This needs an updated glycin: 

../meson.build:263:15: ERROR: Dependency lookup for glycin-2 with method 'pkg-config' failed: Invalid version, need 'glycin-2' ['>= 2.2.alpha.7'] found '2.1.0'.

glycin-2.2 is in beta.
