Release 4.2.0

The new release contains two changes:

  • Fix for Fix for #144 reported by @dngr2 . UTF-16 iteration now properly throws exceptions in case of invalid data instead of just returning zero.
  • Optimization of UTF-8 decoding that can be significant or not depending on the data and the compiler. I wrote about it in my blog: When Compilers Disagree About UTF‑8
