Key Technical Changes in 2.3.12

• OpenSSL 4.0 Compatibility Upstream: Addresses symbol deprecations and linkage quirks resulting from Linux distributions rebuilding core security backends natively for the OpenSSL 4.0 spec.

• Build-Time Optimization (CMP0155 / GCC 15): Explicitly disables CMAKE_CXX_SCAN_FOR_MODULES. Under CMake 3.28+, targets specifying C++20 or newer try to forcefully scan files for C++ modules. Since QCA does not use C++ modules, disabling this behavior bypasses compilation bottlenecks on newer compilers like GCC 15.

• Certificate Store Path Alignment: Implements modern fallbacks to manage the structural shift away from absolute cert.pem files across major distributions, correcting runtime certificate-bundle path lookups.

• Strict Compilation Environment Isolation: Rectifies standalone provider builds (such as qca-softstore and qca-gnupg) to isolate target build flags properly when generating dual targets for Qt 5 and Qt 6 environments consecutively on a single host.
