This FTBFS for me. Starting with configure: 

./configure: line 7965: syntax error near unexpected token `external'
./configure: line 7965: `AM_GNU_GETTEXT(external)'

Ran autoreconf -fiv and noticed this: 

configure.ac:1145: warning: macro 'AM_GNU_GETTEXT' not found in library

Running a configure after that worked, but make gives: 

make[1]: Entering directory '/tmp/xscreensaver-6.16/po'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target 'default'.  Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory '/tmp/xscreensaver-6.16/po'
make: *** [Makefile:42: default] Error 5

I don't have time right now to investigate this.

  • iOS: image loading works even if the images in the photo roll need to be downloaded from iCloud first. Images can display file names.
  • New display modes in hypertorus.
  • X11: Updates for systemd inhibitors on KDE Plasma 6.5.

The package needs: sed -i '/AM_GNU_GETTEXT/s/^/#/' configure

With that the package builds fine. I did see the offending instruction in configure.ac, but I do not know what it is trying to do.
