Overview of changes between 0.8.0 and 0.8.1

  • Added --booklet and --signature for two-column booklet imposition (works with --rtl, header and footer are drawn per column).
  • Added --geometry COLSxROWS; the font is scaled down to fit the row height.
  • Added --inkscape-multipage for SVG output with pages side by side, and --page-gap.
  • Re-enabled --stretch-chars; the stretch is applied per line.
  • Fixed markup spanning line breaks and --cpi clipping of markup.
  • Date formatting in headers/footers is now localized.
  • Fixed memory leaks reported by AddressSanitizer.
  • Use libpaper for paper sizes, added libtool, and an option to disable NLS.
  • Build fixes: glib 2.82, fmt 11.2 (fmt::localtime), BSD with NLS, unused-result warnings, and localized dates with fmt 10.
  • src-to-paps is now Python 3 and uses a portable shebang.
  • Documented landscape handling and PDF/SVG support.
