Description
New major version. Will probably wait for version 3.15.1 to let packages and modules that depend on Python to make any needed updates.

Hit an issue in dbus-python: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/dbus/dbus-python/-/work_items/59. The current proposed fix is to revert https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/dbus/dbus-python/-/commit/ebecd1747c382a57ad8e47d0e32112cdbd454b40.
Updating to dbus-python-1.5.0 worked for me.

Checking currency it appears upstream changed the tarball name name from dbus-python to dbus_python after about 50 releases dating back to 2006.

The change comes from a Python packaging standard, PEP 625, which requires source tarball names to use the normalized project name: lowercase, with hyphens and dots replaced by underscores. Current build backends such as setuptools and meson-python now apply it automatically, so a project that has used dbus-python-X.Y.tar.gz since 2006 starts producing dbus_python-X.Y.tar.gz simply by upgrading its build tools.
