Just remove it.
I see them in the following (some are commented out):
general.ent gnome-mag.xml xfree86.xml (should just be deleted) x-setup.xml x-config.xml (may be valid) xorg.xml mesalib.xml xorg7-only.xml
There really should only be one person working on this at a time, but if you want me to do something, let me know.

Nah..I just hit them all in my 3rd, but thanks. Unfortunately it's dependent on the changes in the 2nd, but both should go in tonight. I also avoided removing xfree86.xml and xorg7-only.xml. There are a couple of others that should be removed as well, that I deleted from x/installing.xml that have been commented out since XFree86 was removed from the book. While I know that there is no reason to keep them, I'm not comfy with removing files until after we branch for 6.3. I'll create another future ticket with a list for that.

I am attaching a diff, which is from an incomplete job dated back in February. It touches only x/installing/x-setup.xml page; that is why I said is incomplete. It needs some review first of course.

These little notes are scattered about in the book. libdrm, fontconfig, and Mesa come to mind immediately. I'm fixing them as I see them. Anybody see a problem with commenting them, or is XFree86 gone forever and they should just be removed? If anybody happens to see a stray XFree86 note, please fix it or drop in a comment on the bug.
