Description ¶
Per previous email, will fix in a day or two if somebody doesn't grab it first, just don't want it forgotten:
DJ,
I believe there is a mismatch between app-7.4.md5 and app-7.4.wget.
app-7.4.md5 has:
xcalc-1.0.2.tar.bz2 xdm-1.1.8.tar.bz2
and app-7.4.wget has neither.

Do we actually want these deprecated apps ?
Actually, I use xcalc fairly often. I don't know of another calculator that does rpn.
As far as xdm goes, I'm sure most people use kdm or gdm, but what about those that use fluxbox or another lightweight window manager? I personally use startx. :)

Summary: | Xorg-7 apps md5 extras → Xorg-7 apps - move apps not part of the distribution to their own page |
---|
The packages are not part of the 'official' distribution and were removed by the Xorg folks. The extra md5sums were removed in r7718. We've currently made an exception for 4 packages. These should probably be moved out of xorg apps and given their own page if we continue to depend on them for testing the server. XDM and XCalc, if there is interest, then yeah, a new page should be created. I'm pretty sure one is needed for XDM, but XCalc I'm unsure of. Changed the description. Leaving bug marked 6.4 for now, but it could easily be pushed back.
