Description ¶
Not sure what to think of this. Anyone with some help should reply to this ticket. The MPlayer site seems it is now hosting Libdvdread, and the version is significantly different.
Marking for the 6.4 release, so that it is addressed and either updated, or figured out why the package name is the same.

Setting as resolved, I think we've established that it's nothing to do with libdvdread.

I've looked in to it and apparently that copy of libdvdread was split off from libdvdnav, and so now they have two seperate projects. Looking at the MPlayer changelog shows that MPlayer is using version 0.9.7 of the real libdvdread. Why they keep choosing to name things after things which already have that name I'll never know.
"This fork of dvdnav [dvdread] was created to overcome the lack of responsiveness of the official development channel, not to bastardize this library in something for specific usage by mplayer, so these are the rules to follow when developing code"
So basically it's MPlayer's version of libdvdnav.
