Separate pages for two versions of goffice, or a new section on the Abiword page that installs old GOffice in such a way that it doesn't conflict with the other copy.

This bug should simply be closed as invalid. I don't think anyone is confused with the text except Alexander. As Ken mentions, we need the separation due to Abiword using ancient version.
What's done on this page is not unique to the book. Most readers should be able interpret the instructions on the Abiword page. It says exactly what version to use, and then references the BLFS page for build instructions.
Ken, I'm not sure there's anything you need to do here. I'd close it myself, but since you own the ticket, I'll let you.

The goffice instructions worked for the old version last time I checked, and abiword cannot use recent versions.
Links to other pages in the book always pull in the current version number in the link.
How do you suggest I handle it ?
I'm accepting the ticket because I'm going to be upgrading abiword, but I'll need advice on what you think would improve it. e.g. an external url to the old version, and lose all the detail available on the goffice page ?
