Issues with desktop-file-utils, alsa-plugins, gtk+-2

I have to create a bunch of tickets, so I combined some, to reduce the amount...

1) desktop-file-utils:

... environments respect respect these settings ...

Doubled respect?

2) alsa-plugins:

There's no info about this...

Config file: /etc/asound.conf

3) gtk+-2.14.5 (I know it's still 2.14.4 in the book, probably the same issue exists there too):

make check fails if there's no hicolor-icon-theme installed

Please don't do that. Also, if there is an outstanding ticket, like #2721 for GTK, add it to that ticket.

If you don't want to do that, just send an email to -dev instead of making tickets. (Although the tickets are preferred.)

Update:

2) /etc/asound.conf is already mentioned in alsa-lib, remove from the ticket.

3) Note added to ​http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/ticket/2721 , gtk+ section can be now removed from this ticket.
