Description (last modified by )
gir-repository installs a number of .gir files into /usr/share/gir-1.0, including several for Pango. However, Pango itself also installs a few with the same names that gir-repository attempts to copy over...
/usr/share/gir-1.0/Pango-1.0.gir /usr/share/gir-1.0/Pango-1.0.gir.pango /usr/share/gir-1.0/PangoCairo-1.0.gir /usr/share/gir-1.0/PangoCairo-1.0.gir.pango /usr/share/gir-1.0/PangoFT2-1.0.gir /usr/share/gir-1.0/PangoFT2-1.0.gir.pango /usr/share/gir-1.0/PangoX-1.0.gir /usr/share/gir-1.0/PangoXft-1.0.gir /usr/share/gir-1.0/PangoXft-1.0.gir.pango
(The ones with the .pango extension are files installed by Pango which I renamed to allow gir-repository to install.)
In any case, I don't really know anything about either gir or Pango, so I have no clue as to which of those would be better to keep. Any ideas?

gir-repository isn't used anymore. Some files are shipped now with gobject-introspection, and those don't overwrite pango files. Marking as fixed.
