"This command removes man files and makefiles from the doc source tree that will be installed by its following commands."
The first part of this sentence sounds like it's removing the man files; the second part sounds like it's installing them anyways. Looking at the command, I think the sentence would be better worded (and more accurate) like this: "This command removes makefiles from the documentation directory that would otherwise be installed by its following commands." or something similar.
