Description ¶
"MongoDB (from "humongous") is a scalable, high-performance, open source, document-oriented database."
MongoDB seems to be gaining in popularity and may well be worthwhile including in the book.
Appears to have additional pre-requisites, which would either need their own sections or as part of the Mongo installation instructions.

This builds out of the box without spidermonkey (despite the documentation).
Requires SCONS to build http://www.scons.org/
