Hi,
The Udev page in BLFS should be updated to (at least) include 2 more switches in configure:
--disable-introspection \ #default to enabled --with-systemdsystemunitdir=no
and command explanations could be: --disable-introspection: necessary if you have not installed gobject-introspection. --with-systemdsystemunitdir=no: do not install systemd helper files, since systemd is not used in (B)LFS.

Also, it seems that the installation stage creates /lib/udev/udev and installs files in it (udev-181). I guess it is because /lib/udev already exists. I did not see it immediately, so I destroyed the logs.
