that "Latest sysstat version is 10.1.1 (2012-07-29)":

It builds and runs in LFS7.1.

2. In blfs sysstat page, the link for the ftp

​ftp://ibiblio.org/pub/linux/system/status/sysstat-10.0.2.tar.bz2

seems to be useless. First, it is broken, second, latest there is sysstat-9.1.7.

I believe if you look again that the package you reference is the current development package, scroll down the page and look for what is described as the current stable package.

My apologies, Randy, you are right! Thanks for pointing that.

When I read this ticket, was so interested in the package, that went quickly to install it.

Still, to my defense, it is misleading having :

1. top of the page "Latest sysstat version is 10.1.1 (2012-07-29)"
   
2. further below "Sysstat stable version: " with version 10.0.5 written below that
   
3. further below yet, in "Old sysstat versions: ", 10.0.5 is also included as "old".

Removed 10.1.1 and installed 10.0.5.
