New version. The current book version fails two tests, but this version passes.

I'm not sure which version of pango you are waiting for but the book's 1.32.5 is one minor version (1.32.6) out of date.

There was a release of Harfbuzz which broke Pango, so you had to upgrade it both. I wasn't able to check if that's the case for current releases of HB and Pango.

As for Pango 1.32.6, it needs unreleased version of Fontconfig (well, unstable one) and that's why it stays there.

My problem with harfbuzz-0.9.9 was that it failed two tests. They were false failures. The only issue there (for the book) is whether to address the failures or update the package or do nothing for now.

Can you confirm that 0.9.13 works with current BLFS instructions?

It builds and tests without error. I haven't quite finished xorg (just starting drivers), but what should I look for?

Pango is the only package that uses it at the moment. If Pango can be built, then I assume it is okay.

Yes, It seems to build OK. I went through a couple of iterations:
