#379 closed defect (fixed)

portmap-5beta creates portmap in /usr/sbin, not /sbin: CVS 2003-1024

Reported by: lfsbill@… Owned by: tushar@…
Priority: high Milestone:
Component: BOOK Version: ~CVS
Severity: normal Keywords:

Description

Even with both patches applied, portmap installed in /usr/sbin (which seems correct to me anyway). But the bootscripts reference /sbin. Gened patch for bootscripts.

Oh, no, portmap can *never* be installed in /usr, it must be in the root partition. Tushar, I'm reassigning this to you, we can't just patch the bootscripts, because they're correct.

The patch was created by Marc. Any particular reason for installing portmap in /sbin?
