Description
Build is successful using --disable-vala configure option.
With Vala-0.18.1 install and enabled this is the first error I get:
VAPIGEN librsvg-2.0.vapi
Rsvg-2.0.gir:202.11-202.32: error: expected start element of `parameter'

I couldn't reproduce the issue with current versions of vala and librsvg in the book. Closing.

Do you use glib 2.36 and g-i 1.36? If so, please use Vala 0.20 and librsvg 2.37.0.
