returns "file not found". Shouldn't this be changed to:
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/downloads/7.4/blfs-bootscripts-20130908.tar.bz2
either in the rendered book or in the errata?
BTW, there is no 7.4 version in the trac system...

Yes, we need to add that to the errata. The file was removed from svn when the svn version of the bootscripts was updated.
The 7.4 version is in BLFS/tags/7.4.
