Description ¶
The attached patch will solve the non working suspend/hibernate/poweroff/reboot calls if you use an LFS system with systemd. systemd is now officially part of the LFS book.

There is no possibility at the moment to have BLFS supporting systemd.
The only things I think can be done with this ticket is to change priority, instead of closing as wontfix, and mark for the future.

systemd has been removed from lfs. This may be appropriate for the separate systemd version of lfs, but there is no separate systemd version of blfs.

Actually no, systemd is not officially part of the LFS book. It is in a separate branch and is experimentally in the development tree, but we may decide to rip it out. The next release is scheduled for September.
