Verification needed for the following packages before this update can be incorporated:
- php
- gnome-libs (not critical since it can also link against db-3.3)
- gnucash
- exim
- sendmail
- postfix

Openldap did not take kindly to starting with a previous DB-4.1 database. This does not affect new installs. Removing previous DB solves it. You did backup up your ldap database to a ldap file prior to upgrading, right.

Courier has a problem with db 4.x and up. No solution currently available.

Berkeley DB is optional for Courier and not the first choice. The recommended db is gdbm.

Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.

Don't forget that we have a lot of packages that depend on Berkeley db, so we can't remove the current version just because a newer one has been released.
