Looks to be a beta version. But there are no previous versions on sf.net. So maybe they want everyone to use 3.94beta.

The official site says that 3.90.1 is the latest stable version (dating from 2001-12-21). I thought we might upgrade to newer beta version since the book uses 3.93.1.

​http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=228192 suggests 3.93 was a stable release.

I don't have anything for/against 3.94b, just wanted to point out that it is a beta release.

You're right. It seems they didn't update their web page. We might wait for the stable release then.
