Description
Hello,
On the Cyrus SASL-2.1.26 page it states that the package does not support parallel build.
Just out of curiosity I passed make -j2 to the make command and it successfully compiled.
I do not know if this works for 64bit as well, but perhaps there could be a note on the page that it does at least work for 32bit i686?
Regards,
Christopher

-2.patch should fix it. There was an issue in -1.patch which rendered it broken.

Patch -3 fixes -fPIC issue, issue with pkg-config file and issues with parallel build among others. Fixed in systemd branch.

Perhaps we should say that parallel build does not work consistently. If the Makefile is not specified correctly, it's possible that it can get into a race condition and it sometimes works and sometimes not. Perhaps -j3 fails. It's hard to say.
The package is only 0.5 SBU anyway, so it's really not that important to build in parallel.
