The typed command...
patch -Np1 -i ./4.3.0-4.3.0.1.diff
should have two periods, to get the .diff from the parent folder like mentioned in the sentence above it. Nothing "big", but it's something, just tryin' to help! It should be...
patch -Np1 -i ../4.3.0-4.3.0.1.diff
