TigerVNC 1.6.0 is now available. This release is mostly about fixing
various bugs and polishing existing features, but there are some notable
new things:

  • Multi-head support in the Java viewer
  • Better certificate handling in the Java viewer, including host name
    verification

It is installed, I can connect to vino in Ubuntu, but no window is open: 

$ env LC_ALL=C vncviewer

A difference from what is in BLFS: 

sed -i 's/iconic/nowin/' unix/vncserver

Doesn't do anything, because there is no iconic in unix/vncserver.
