This is not security related, but tagged high, after the reason for the release:

The "... 2.1.1 source archives ... actually contained a current 2.2 snapshot".

Thus, it is recommended replacing 2.1.1 with this new version.

CUPS 2.1.2 is now available from:

    https://www.cups.org/software.php

CUPS 2.1.2 fixes an issue in the 2.1.1 source archives which actually
contained a current 2.2 snapshot. There are no other changes.
