Not stable, but needed for gnome-color-manager.

Why two different versions? When something needed an unstable version in the past, the package has been updated to the unstable one and tracked it until a new stable release has been released (fontconfig and p11-kit come to mind).

I guess the answer could be that the development version is not needed for the SYS V book. But if it can be shown that 1.3.4 does not break anything in that book, why not use it?

Unstable doesn't mean it's broken. It just means the package is subjected to major changes (this package isn't), which could potentially introduce some regressions to previously working code. I have yet to see an issue with p11-kit, colord, upower, all of which I have "unstable" versions installed.

Odd numbered minor versions of colord are develpment and not considered stable. Cloasing.
